What it does
The page on screen is the page that prints. Start from a household like yours (an apartment with a cat, a family, someone on their own, roommates, a house with a yard) or a blank sheet, then click any chore and type over it. Enter adds the next one, and pasting a list makes a chore of every line. However much you write, the type is sized to fill exactly one sheet of Letter or A4, and the Notes take whatever room is left as ruled lines.
- Daily chores get a box for every day of the month: one row of boxes per chore, or a little calendar each, two or three across.
- Weekly chores get a column per week, with the dates; monthly ones are a checklist. Leave blank rows to write in by hand.
- Print a month, or a year. Every page has the right dates and the same size type, with the week starting Monday, Sunday or Saturday, in one of six accent colors (which the page’s greys take a tint of too), or a different one each month through the seasons. Black is made for a black-and-white printer. A month with too much for one sheet prints over two, and printed partway through a month, the days already gone are crossed out, so they read as not applicable rather than missed.
- Delete a chore with its ×, or on a phone by swiping it left, and take it back with Undo.
- Keep several charts (the house, the kids, the office), duplicate one, or back them all up to a file. Two open tabs stay in step.
- Share a chart as a link. The link carries the whole chart, so nothing is uploaded; whoever opens it gets their own copy. Or copy it as a plain checklist.
