What it does

A notebook for the people in your life: what they do, what they like, when their birthday is, what you meant to ask them. It lives in your browser, encrypted with a passphrase only you know, and it draws everyone you’ve written down as a map of who knows whom. Every person in these pictures is made up.

  • A page per person: details, circles, notes and follow-ups. Type a name in the search box to add someone.
  • @mentions in notes link two people, and the note shows up on both pages.
  • Relationships of any type you like: friend, sibling, boss of, former partner. Each page shows how you connect to that person and who you both know.
  • The graph draws everyone, with circles around the groups. Pan, zoom, drag, find someone, or look at one circle at a time.
  • Search goes through names, details and the text of every note. Upcoming birthdays and follow-ups sit at the top of the list.
  • Locks with one tap, after a while on its own, and when you switch away. Open it with the passphrase, a PIN, or a fingerprint or face where the browser can.
  • Photos, contacts and backups: add photos to a person, import contacts from a vCard (a phone’s contact file) or a CSV file, and save an encrypted backup file to restore from.
