What it does

Type in an address and PlotCraft puts the satellite photo of it on a canvas, at its real scale. Then you plan on top of it: drop in a tree, a fence, a pool or a shed, and it takes up as much ground as the real thing would. A 40-foot oak is 40 feet across.

  • 69 drag-and-drop assets in thirteen groups: trees, shrubs, water, recreation, structures, hardscape, outdoor living, fencing, vehicles, garden, utilities, landscape and house plans. Each is drawn to its real size.
  • Draw the rest. The Area tool paints ground covers like grass, gravel, concrete, mulch, pavers or flagstone; Perimeter draws driveways, paths and fence lines, with smooth (Bezier) curves.
  • Measure and label with the Ruler, Dimension lines and Text. Shift snaps to 45°, and guides show when things line up.
  • Bring your own plan. Paste or upload an image of a house plan, crop it, and calibrate it with two points so it sits at scale.
  • Export a PNG (or a 4× one), a PDF, or a .plotcraft file you can reopen later or hand to someone else.
  • Phones get their own layout: one finger draws, two pinch to zoom, and a long press opens the menu a right-click would.
