What it does

A drawn cartoon character on a little stage, waiting for words. Type a line and they say it, mouth moving with the letters and a caption lighting up each word. Or give them sound, a file or your own voice, and they lip-sync to it.

  • Five characters, each in its own cartoon style with its own set: Pip the mint bean, Bolt the robot talk-show host, Mochi the phantom cat, Monolith the space strongman and Sprocket the rubber-hose pup (old 1930s cartoon style).
  • Tags steer the mood: [happy] [sad] [angry] [surprised], pauses like [pause 1s], and reactions like [laugh] or [gasp]. Untagged lines get a guessed mood. Open a .txt or .md file to read from.
  • Drop in audio or video, or record yourself: the mouth follows the sound, live while you record. Then export it as a video.
  • Square, tall or wide, on the character’s set, a few backdrops, a solid color for keying (cutting them out in a video editor), or a picture of your own.
  • Hold a face from the row of moods, fire off a reaction (or keys 1 to 4), poke the head. The eyes follow your pointer.
  • Save scripts on this device, or share a link that carries the script, the character and the scene.
