What it is

A step-through guide to how I build apps by talking to Claude, usually on my phone, written for someone who has never written code. The first half is the setup I wish someone had walked me through. The second half is the process, from a one-sentence idea to a site with your name on it.

• A quiz for your idea. Six questions sort it into green, yellow or red: a good first build, doable with care, or not yet.
• Two first sessions. Level 0 makes an app inside the Claude app in about 30 minutes. Level 1 sets up your own website, with a drawing of every screen you’ll meet in Claude, GitHub and Netlify.
• The process, shown not told. Watch Claude interview you about an idea, drag a before/after of a rough first version, and see a panel of pretend users review it as it happens.
• Staying safe. What never to paste into a chat, what a secret is, where what you paste goes, and what Claude can touch and how to take that back.
• Real quotes. Every box marked From my history or Ricky is something I actually typed to Claude. The rest Claude drafted from my answers to its questions, and I checked.
• The card. The whole process on one printable page, plus a checklist that remembers where you are.
